Another pair bites the dust

"did you just rip your pants?" - Elder Çoka - Elder Smith's Companion.

So this week a ripped my second pair of pants since i got to Africa, which is pretty cool. If i continue at this rate i might have one pair of pants left by the time i go home.

Wow, these weeks with Elder Çoka have been just breezing past, he is super awesome and we dont go a day without having lots of fun and working hard.

This week has been pretty sweet, we got to go to Tzaneen which i have heard missionaries talking about since i got into the field. Tzaneen is a place in my zone, but about an hour away, 100 Kilometers. So the only people that go there are the elders that serve that side. However we had our zone activity over there, and man, that was awesome. The drive is beautiful and it does not look like you're in Africa at all. I will see what i can send, i have one good video but the it's too long to send.

Otherwise this week we also had exchanges and i got to go over to Mokopane with elder Spencer (he is from my mtc group and was in Botswana same time as me.) That was super sick and it was awesome to not have to worry about leading my area for a day. My companion only got lost once while i was gone so that is good.

On the subject of the lords work we have also been progressing very well. We just got a new branch mission leader as the old one had too much on his plate being also the elders quorum president and the institute teacher. So that is super good.

We have also been working with some super awesome people. And are teaching a wonderful old lady who loves the missionaries. She stays right next door to the Seshego elders, but is in our area. She feeds those elders all the time and has invited all four of us over for a feast this Wednesday. It seems that if a missionary flat is right next to an old lady they are in for a treat because i had the same thing in Botswana.

Anyway, life is going great! I love this area and all of the people here are great, the branch is growing very well and i have seen awesome improvement since my first week here.

That is it for today!  Have a good week everyone!

Love Elder Smith!

Hey

Hey, Hey, Hey! Life is going great over here in the R of SA! One of my favorite things about serving here in The Mamelodi 2cd war...
