Hello

And the work pushes forward!
We had a good week, but not too many things happened.
I am still unable to send picture because of wifi. But i'll send some when i can.
We had two new people come to church on Sunday, one of them was brought by a less active member and the other came on his own, he was drunk but he stayed for the first two hours. So that's awesome we have two new possible people to teach.

The scripture for this week is Alma 38:9.
Jesus Christ is so important, he has done so much for us and made so many things possible for us. I cannot express my love for our savior Jesus Christ but i can simply testify that i have seen his hand in my life, holding me up and helping me through the hard times. Cheering me on in the good times and trudging through the drudgery of daily life by my side. I am so thankful for the gift of his atonement and his everlasting and unconditional love for me, and everyone else that lives upon this earth. I testify that he is there for us, and that it is through him and because of him that we can make it back to live with our father in heaven once again.
Have a good week everyone!

What a week!

Hello everyone! How are you doing? What is up in life right now?

Life here is going quite well!
Mamelodi is awesome! This week was a little slow but we had some awesome things that happened as well!
On tuesday all of our appointments canceled and so we end up having to go tracting. Which we hardly ever really do. So we parked the car right next to the chapel and right as we got out to go tracting we came across two young men, they actually approached us, they were somewhere between like 21-24. We got into a conversation with them and they were asking questions about the church and what not... But them we found out that they are return missionaries and they totally trolled us... Eish....
But it was quite a miracle because our ward is so low on active tithe paying priesthood brethren that it should not even be a ward, They moved literally right next to the chapel (which is a school) and they did not know it was there. They seem to be a little less active  but they came to church on sunday for the first hour and have a lot of potential!
Otherwise this week i had three food excites! One will have to wait till next week when i can send a picture but here are the other two!
One i finally found a good cheesecake! I have spent months trying different cheesecakes, looking for a good one but all that i was able to find was disappointment. They have all been fake. But the other night i find a good one finally! So Yaaaay! Still not as good as home but what can you do!
The second food excite comes in today: We found a Mexican restaurant! I have been out for nine months and have been looking for Mexican food the whole time, also nobody else in the mission had been able to find one either. The Mexican food was way good as well! We were all super skeptical at first but it turned out great and made my day for sure!
The scripture for this week is Alma 26:1-3 I think we can learn a wonderful lesson from this scripture, we as members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints have a light (Jesus Christ/the gospel) that can bless other people and bring them light in their darkness. It is a wonderful lesson, and D&C 12312-13 says that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all of these things which we know. I just want to testify that the gospel can heal and light our lives, and when we find that for ourselves t is our responsibility to go out there and share it with everyone else!

Not much time!

life is fun! We had the zone activity today so there is not a lot of email time.
We had a super fun time though, we went to a cool monument here called the voorrtrekker monument. Then we played an intense game of dodge ball.
W have been working hard here in mamelodi! Doing the best that we can! we have some awesome people to work with!
The scripture for the week! proverbs 3:5-6
Turn everything over to him and he will help you through! I know this to be true and it has helped me so much in my mission, and in life! Just press forward with him on your side and everything will work out for the better! Remember that he will never close a door without opening a better one!

I love you all! Stay strong!
